Free Teleconference: Immigrants, The Church, and Bad State Laws
National conference call

CCIR_alert_imagePurpose: Equip pastors and other faith leaders with knowledge to understand the impact of state immigration laws on their faith communities, as well as the tools to engage your community in fruitful discussion around immigration.

When: Thursday, April 26; 2 - 3 p.m. EDT

Background: The rise in anti-immigrant state legislation has left devastating effects in our economies, communities and places of worship. The continuous disagreements between the state and federal government have pushed the debate to the courts.  Now, as the Supreme Court prepares to hear oral arguments on April 25th about Arizona’s SB 1070 immigration law, the outcome of that decision will be decisive for all sides. Faith leaders need to know how changes in immigration policy affect their congregations and communities.

Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
